“Give me sex; I want your faces to look as though you’re having sex.” Somewhere in a crowd of extras a woman is giving directions. On March 10th Henry Cruz’s crew was set up in club Shelter to film scenes for his film “After Party Babies.” It was about 9pm when I got there, I went inside and saw the set...you know the cameras, lights, wires and stuff I was like who the hell are these people and what are they doing in my house? They had the fog machine going as I made my way past the extras standing listening to instruction and headed for the DJ booth. Quentin was back and forth between spinning music and a laptop nearby to check on things.
As I got to the booth I couldn’t help but think about how cool this was. I had no idea that Quentin had an interest in doing music for film. It didn’t seem strange to me that he would be featured in a film about night life, but scoring music for a film now that’s unique. Quentin Harris constantly surprises me, I first met him at club
