LADY HANNAH

THE JOURNEY

Article and interview by Gareth Morgan

Whilst going through different websites, I came across Lady Hannah's webpage, and was instantly mesmerized by her wonderful voice.

Hannah originally hails from Hammersmith in West London, but moved to New York City when she was just 18 and then down south to Atlanta where she remains today.

Lady Hannah has since established herself within the Jazz scene in Atlanta, and is regularly performing throughout the week and weekends. She has also just completed her debut artist album called 'The Journey' which will be available on
i-Tunes from December 2008. We asked Lady Hannah a few questions about her music:

SU: Let’s start at the beginning. You’re from Hammersmith (West London) originally, singing your first performance at The Royal Festival Hall at a tender age of 7 right? When you reached 18, you were recording with artists Don-E and Femi Williams of acclaimed group The Young Disciples. Tell us what you did with them and what led you to working with them? How was the experience?
