This year's Miami Winter Music Conference, although down in numbers to previous years, was still another fantastic trip. It was different for Roy and myself this year though, as we had a lot of work to do hosting our own event with Carolyn Harding called Movin' On.
Carolyn, souledUp and our sister company Amplified Publicity joined forces last year when Carolyn approached us to represent her PR wise. She needed help to plan a special party during WMC week to celebrate 25 years of her involvement in dance music. 25 years is a quarter of a century, to be involved in dance music for that length of time is an achievement in anyone's books, so it was with great pride the three of us strode forwards and started planning the event.
In fairness to Carolyn, she did a huge amount of the work herself, so that left Roy and I able to concentrate on the transportation to the event and the DJ line up.
